HI FOLKS BACK AGAIN THANX FOR THE HELP IN OTHER TOPIC THAT I HAVE POSTED
IM WONDERING HOW GOOD THE MINELAB X TERRRA 70 IS ON THE BEACH AS I LIVE JUST A STONE THROW AWAY FROM THE NORTH EAST COAST LINE
IM ALSO A LITTLE CONFUSED ABOUT ALL THE DIFFRENT COILS ETC
IS THEIR A GOOD ONE FOR THE ABOVE SAID MACHINE FOR WET/DRY SAND...?

| Hi I have the 70 and use it on the beach somtimes I use the 10.5in 7.5khz DD coil and it works well |

I've got an X-Terra 50. I've used this on wet and dry sand with no
problems whatsoever. I'm just using a standard coil. The 70 has
auto ground balance, so I don't know how that might affect things.
I do have trouble balancing the detector sometimes on wet sand, so just set it as close as I can. It still finds coins at 10" when configured this way.
