Gasp - that's quite a high price for an Eagle Spectrum - £306... these machines seem to be EXTREMELY sought after almost everywhere in the world... not bad for a 15+ year old machine!
eBay item no. 200143768848 (German seller).
That's more than an XLT usually fetches... just how deep are these Eagles for heavens sake? Will they see off an Explorer?

well not sure about seeing off an explorer but they are the deepest of the whites machines. its one downfall is the small VDI numbers but performance wise they are cracking machines |

Mad prices on E-Bay at the moment. Might put the wife on if she goes on about the state of the hedges.
Trouble is you have to watch what your buying. The pulse machines that have been on recently are either unrepairable/heavy/or insensitive to cupro-nickel coins and gold rings or a combination of all three.
Off resonance machines which offered great discrimination tend to be unreliable and non repairable.
Compass/Wilson/Discovery need a trip to the States for repair (if possible) and tune up.
At least Whites do still offer great back up on the older models for as long as they can.
People do seem to get swept up in the bidding fever though. |
