| Been out three times (although today was only for one hour - too much rain!) with the GT now. Still getting used to the GT and it's my first detector, but in the three visits (all club site pasture), I have found a 303 bullet, 2 ship halfpennies (one at 9"), a Georgian pewter button, a medical horse shoe, lead, lead and more lead and then, today, an 18th Century child's thimble. Have to say, I'm finding the GT to be excellent (not that I have much to compare it to, mind!) and am slowly starting to learn the subtleties of signal. I'm looking forward to trying it out on some slightly less 'worked out' and more promising sites. |
