anyone see the new time team program on codnor castle on Sunday, 6th. a metal detectorist ..Jonathan smith of sandiacre finds a cracking gold noble in perfect condition ,he was holding the coin but was shaking that much ?,it took ages before they could film the part because of his hand shaking ,they say it would have been like dropping a 1.000 pound note into the moat , what a loss, anyone know the detectorist i think he was using a minelab xterra ,you can find out more looking on the web  |

| Wsan't there an article about that in the Searcher? Didn't see it on Time Team, but the pics in the mag were excellent. |

how would someone get to go detecting with time team or any archi dig and would they get a cut of anything they found?
