I don't think so. I have a pair of older predators and just taken delivery of a pair of Maz's DETEC1 - they work fine and for 20 sheets delivered - what a bargain ! They don't massage my shoulders while I am detecting but for that money who cares. I think these companies know that there are too many folks out there with money to burn.
