What do you do with all the rubbish you find? you know aluminium, steel, iron that you spend endlessly digging for jus to find that it aint that good.

I ask because I am sure that there was a similar or question that mentioned rubbish here not that long ago (but can't find it Rolling Eyes ) And I really ask because I tried a bit of the local school on Sunday, and among the coins, I found dozens of cans, and was thinking, that there must be thousands around this school, and I could kill two birds with one bullet Wink

I thought, if I spent a bit more of my time, I could collect all this cra,..... rubbish and 1) do the earth a bit of good, and 2) get some pin money if I weighed them in at the scrap metal dealers.

NOW, the question is, is it worth it? or am I just fooling myself and wasting valuable hunting time?

Everything i dig i take home, ringpulls, bottletops the lot, keep the lead the rest goes in the recycled bin, never thought of saving it up to weigh in, probably need a skip full to make it worth while, but if you got a spare skip...... for each class, take a while to fill one with ringpulls Sad
When people ask what i find i show em the bag of rubbish and most are quite pleased and get a good imprestion of me cleaning up the beach

I guess I would get a feeling of acheivement if I cleared behind people, Maybe I'll give a go and let you all know if it os really worth it.

With reagrds to hunting and people asking if I found anything, just get really excited about all the small coins you found, and tell them that you found an old nail or two from at least the 1950's Twisted Evil

hey Kered, thought of you the other week while I was doing a very slow and dissapointing search on Blackpool beach. I found a 10 cent coin Surprised
