Is it legal just to turn up on a beach and start detecting or do I need to ask someone first or get permission off the Queen or the like?
Cheers. |

| hi ajl ive been on the beaches from saltburn to hartlepool and never had any problems of any kind as yet the only places that are restricted are around the industrial tees mouth, because of the threat of terrorist around newclear and storage plants just south of seaton crew, the only problem ive had is early morning detectoring are the big dogs lol coming over to you for a sniff so i take a small hand trowl for the digging and a shovel for the dog that might not just be friendly. i had a hairy scare with a dog the other week it took an interest in my nine year old son but the dog was as big as me and wouldnt go way and the owner was half a mile away and had no control over it.lol |

You'll end up in the Tower for that plus Prince Phil might not be too happy either |
