On the T.V. today (Thursday) there is a report of a hoard of 617 silver coins, a gold arm ring and a gilt silver vessel found by a father and son team in the Harrogate area.
Classed as a Viking hoard but seems to be English that was stolen by the Vikings.
Keep an eye out on tonights news and/or teletext.

You can be sure the manufacturer, whoever it is, will be writing a blank cheque for the finders to participate in advertising and PR. Perhaps they were using a no-name Chinese machine lol... "Find REAL treasure now with a Chenching Electronic Manufacturing Company model XHGHH-238745937!!"

| It will probably be found with a shiny new minelab sovereign, more than likely with the optional meter plus a complete set of rain covers. |

You forgot the Vibrating probe with searchlight, and the stainless steel digging tool made by XYZ, that was rushed to the scene by dealer ABC after an inferior make broke |
