Last night Detecnicks had a break in and several new Minelabs and Whites were stolen. If you are offered a machine with no serial numbers or on the cheap reprt it to them on 01243 545060.

Thanks guys,
I don't think I was working too well yesterday and never got to posting this myself.
Still have to trawl through invoices to establish the rest of the serial numbers and will advise as soon as I can.

If you buy a stolen machine there is every chance you will eventually get caught and done for possesion and your details will be posted on the detecting related web sites and forums, the metal detecting world is a very small one and sooner or later the machine (s) will need repair service or P/X ing. Full details are now circulated all over Europe so guys please be aware of whats happened here, we all need to stick together on this one.
Dont buy machines or coils with no numbers they are in the form of stickers but these stickers dont fall off during normal use.

Minelab numbers are stickers on the control box and the Whites in question numbers are inside the battery door flap.

Dont expect to see anything for sale for at least 6 months so keep this info noted down for the future, they may break the machines down and sell stems, batteries & chargers etc on E Bay be aware if the sellers are in the south coast area.
